Having had a C Section I'm unable to drive and have to rely on others to lift anything heavier than a kettle!
No-one told me that when you have a C Section that your scar would be numb after and that I still wouldn't be able to feel my left bum cheek 3 weeks on. It's all rather bizarre. The whole experience of being a mummy still doesn't feel real to be honest and I've had this conversation with Tom.
It sort of feels like Harry's been dropped on us for a weekend and we're waiting for someone to pick him up again. We wouldn't have it any other way though. Yes we have sleepless nights, there are lots of wet nappies and I mean lots!! I just feel like I need to get out of the house a bit more. Luckily I have lovely friends who keep dropping in to keep me company and it won't be long before I'm out in the car on my own again.
I'll keep you posted with Harry's outdoor adventures. Hopefully we don't have any meltdowns. Tom has already insisted he has his first pint down the pub. Any excuse for him to get to the Swanholme.
Byeee for now 🙂
